Pan in the 21st Century 2010
Finals: the DVD - has been released
in time for Pan Month.
The event captured ‘live’ at the
Jean Pierre Complex, Port-of-Spain,
Trinidad in May, features the
performances of twelve top steel orchestras in 5.1 surround
sound, and was digitally mastered
by Advance Dynamics, winner of
the Hollywood and Aurora Awards
for their Inside Carnival
series.
The DVD Video is a compilation
of tunes from the 21st century
world beat repertoire played by
some of the best steelband
talent in a competitive setting.
Bands on this disc are Invaders, Renegades,
Katzenjammers, Valley Harps,
Fonclaire, Codrington Pan
Family, Skiffle Bunch,
Sound Specialists of
Laventille, Silver Stars,
Harmonites, Exodus
and Sforzata steel orchestras.
The tracks are well-known and
include the prize-winning rendition
of “Bust Your Windows,” “If I Ain’t Got You,”
“I
Gotta Feeling,” “Empire State of
Mind” and “I Surrender” among
others packaged for everyone’s listening enjoyment.
Limited copies are available at
the leading music shops in

Pan Trinbago Head’s Office at Park
Street, Port of Spain, Trinidad.
