LYRICS

Verse 1

Thereís ah reason for the season
Is Carnival time, come take ah wine
Thereís ah season for the reason
Bacchanal time, come take ah grind
Soca music on D road
On every corner, itís ah overload
Ah joyful face ah pleasant smile
Fun they having, itís carnival time

Chorus

The reason the sun does shine
It brings you joy & love
So you could keep romancing
The reason D pan does play
Brings you melodies for ah brighter day
Itís the reason, for the season
Itís the tempo, itís D pan on D go
Itís D jumping, itís D wining
Itís the rhythm
Itís the show of all shows

Verse 2

We have rhythm, we have colors
Fashion & style, to display for you
Look at these two lovely islands
Women & charm, that's we nature too
Every year we celebrate, this carnival
This is bacchanal
Don't sit back and contemplate
Where you should go,
Come and join the show

Chorus

Verse 3

I just love to hear the rhythm
Coming on through, with ah melody
Ah C note make ah connection
With other notes, it's like 1, 2, 3
Now is time to celebrate
This carnival, this is bacchanal
Every creed and every race
Just like the sun,
Giving warmth to one

Chorus
