Semi-Finals Order of Appearance for Small Steel Orchestras - Trinidad & Tobago National Steelband Panorama 2016
Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Putting their musical prowess on display at the Queen’s Park Savannah also known as “The Big Yard,” twenty small steel orchestras grace that stage in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, on Sunday January 24 for the semi-final phase of competition in the country’s 2016 National Panorama competition.
In the eyes and ears of the respective panels of judges, the group represent the best of the small steel orchestras after a four-phase, four-region (East, North, South/Central and Tobago) preliminary round. Defending small steelband champs Arima Golden Symphony will perform in position number four at the semis.
Their performances are combined with those of thirty-two single pan bands, which are also in contention for places in the finals in their respective category of competition.
