Defending Panorama Champs Pantonic Steel Orchestra put away the pan sticks
and picked up the drill, shovel, nails and hammers... Working
through the rain, mud and cold, the Pantonic family showed that they are
much more than a steel orchestra, as they designed and laid the foundation
for their new rehearsal area/panyard... No one was spared from the
labour-intensive work as Pantonic's captains and top panmen constructed

for the youth-oriented steel orchestra, as they struggled to secure an
outdoor rehearsal
area/pan yard, in preparation for the 2003 Pan season. It was about
one week before the major Panorama competition at
the end of August, that they were afforded a last-minute outdoor pan yard,
but the ordeal had taken its toll.
