Terry Joseph, one of
Trinidad and Tobago's premiere news,
information, historian and cultural journalists
has passed at the age of 60, in Georgia, USA.
For the past year Mr. Joseph had been valiantly
battling cancer. He is survived by his
wife and child.
An extremely intelligent and gifted writer,
Joseph was a staunch proponent of Trinidad and
Tobago culture. In this regard, When Steel
Talks has been fortunate to have liaised with
Mr. Joseph on various aspects of steelpan
customs, traditions, history and culture.
In an exclusive interview just a few months ago,
Terry Joseph shared many of his hopes, concerns
and laments as it relates to the steelpan
instrument and Trinidad and Tobago traditions.
When Steel Talks extends deep condolences to his
wife, family and friends.
We revisit that interview "Terry Joseph Speaks".
