Steelband & Cultural Benefit Concert for Ailing Pan Personality

Fundraiser flyer for DJ Heshimu benefit

Global - Widely-followed and much-loved Trinidad & Tobago WACK 90.1 fm radio presenter, David “DJ Heshimu” Graham, is facing extremely severe health challenges, and is in immediate need of love, prayers, and - most of all - financial support.  Funds are needed urgently to assist Heshimu, a down-to-earth and true “Pan lover” (aka ‘Barrel’ Lover)!

Coming together this weekend in one accord on Heshimu’s behalf are pride of Trinidad’s southland - Skiffle Bunch Steel Orchestra - Ken “Professor” Philmore, Francis Prime, Joanne Foster, Leroy “Black Stalin” Calliste, Errol Fabien, Earl Brooks, and many more.  All will gather to show their love and support for DJ Heshimu while taking the stage in a concert of fabulous musical performances this Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Skiffle Bunch’s Pan Theatre, 110 Coffee Street, in San Fernando, Trinidad.  Music fans, culture lovers and Heshimu fans can be part of this major undertaking with a contribution of TT$ 100.00 (US$ 17.50).

The WACK fm radio personality who has hosted the show “Pan In Yuh Pwewfen” many times alongside Hollis Clifton - is also a performer in his own right. Heshimu is an African drummer par excellence, entertainer and has also graced the background vocal track of many a Trinidad & Tobago soca star, including Machel Montano.

Showtime for Saturday’s event is 7:00 p.m.  And if you’re unable to make this worthy affair in person and still want to be part of this effort, you can contribute your TT$ 100.00 (US$ 17.50) to Heshimu’s cause via WACK fm’s homepage, and scrolling down on the right-hand side, then clicking on the “Heshimu - Sat. 6th March” banner.

On Saturday 6 March, 2010 - all roads lead to the Skiffle Bunch Pan Theatre, San Fernando, Trinidad!
