Meet Megan-Leigh Langton-Attang of Trinidad & Tobago - Steelpan Performing Artist

Megan-Leigh Langton-Attang is participating in ‘PanoGrama 2021.’  Her instrument was made and tuned by Augustus Peters.

Megan-Leigh Langton-Attang is from Trinidad and Tobago and has been playing steelpan for 19 years. She has a BA in Musical Arts (Special) from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus and is passionate about pushing the artform of the steelpan forward. Megan-Leigh is excited to be a part of the evolutionary journey of steelpan. As a female panist, her lifelong goal is to transform the way listeners think about the steelpan when they hear her play.
