3.         Registration

3.1              Requirement for Registration of steelbands – Each participating band shall be required to register with Pan Trinbago by June 1^st  of the previous year.

3.2              Requirement for Registration of players – Each participating band shall be required to register with Pan Trinbago the names of all their members who would be performing in the competition.

3.3              Deadline Date for Registration of players – The deadline date for registration of players shall be Tuesday January 11^th 2005.

3.4              Registration Fee – The registration fee shall be the sum of $20.00 per player.

3.5              Entitlement of Registration – Only registered players shall be allowed to participate in the competition.

3.6              Exemption from Registration – Stage Side Players who have paid their membership dues with the organization shall be exempt from payment of the registration fee.

3.7              Limitation on Number of Registrants – No player shall be allowed to perform with more than one (1) steelband in the Conventional Steelband category. Where more than one steelband seeks to register a particular player, the player shall be allowed to register only with the steelband of which he is a member.

3.8              Failure to Register – Any steelband that fails or refuses to adhere to the foregoing rules with respect to Registration shall be disqualified from the competition and shall incur the penalties outlined in clause 11 of these Rules.
