Khan M T Cordice, born in the twin-island nation of Antigua and Barbuda, is a Steelpan musician, composer, and arranger, who has burst on to the music scene and has taken the region by storm. Over the years, Khan has attained many accolades in the music world and continues to climb the stairs of success, with great humility.

These musical accolades range from solo and large Panorama competitions, to being awarded national youth ambassador of his country. Khan Cordice is known as one of the youngest winning National Panorama and steelband arrangers in Antigua and Barbuda with 4 panorama wins and with many more accomplishments in different competitions and areas in music. His works and solo performance repertoire covers a wide range of styles from contemporary to classical music and is available on his social media. With an Associate’s Degree in General studies from “Antigua State College”, a B.A. (Hons) from the University of the West Indies, (with two special prizes Beryl McBurnie, prize for best all round student, and the Newman Alexander top music student), Khan sees himself as a well rounded musician and performer that leaves his mark everywhere he performs and a lasting impression on everyone he is affiliated with.

Music for Khan seems to be the gift that keeps on giving, as he is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Music at Northern Illinois University with hopes achieving much more during his tenure at the institution. Khan’s belief; in life, one has many chances, many opportunities to show himself to the world. So it is up to that man or that woman to take that opportunity and be the best they can be in whatever ever fields, areas or concentration in life. “I may not be the best at anything, but I will be great at everything.”

* Khan’s accomplishments have been noted on the website, “When Steel Talks” as well as in the October 2012 issue of the “ The CXC Examiner Magazine” which features among other articles, the accomplishments of top students in the performing and visual arts.

Khan Cordice is also currently the Director of Culture in Antigua & Barbuda.
