Kion Robinson

Kion Robinson is really into music, and is currently pursuing an associate degree in music at COSTAATT (College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago).  An arranger for La Horquetta Pan Groove Steel Orchestra in Trinidad & Tobago, Robinson’s dream is to attain a degree from an American university like NIU (Northern Illinois University) or Berklee College of Music.

For the 2016 Panorama season, Robinson arranged Johnny Douglas’ Raising Dust for La Horquetta Pan Groove; he has been with them since 2011.  He worked with them again for 2017, leading the band to become champions in the small steel orchestra category of Trinidad & Tobago’s National Panorama competition.
