fraternity
were hosted
by Their
Excellencies,
Professor
George
Maxwell
Richards and
First Lady Dr. Jean Ramjohn-Richards, at
President’s
House, St.
Ann’s,
recently.
The
reception
was in honor
of the
National
Panorama
Champions
i.e. Silver
Stars, CLICO
Sforzata,
Arima Golden
Symphony and
La Horquetta
Pan Groove.
Patrick
Arnold,
President of
Pan
Trinbago, in
thanking
Their
Excellencies
for their
hospitality
for the
third
consecutive
year stated
that this
gesture by
the Head of
State was
important
especially
for the
young
people.
“There are
so many
young people
involved in
Panorama and
this show of
appreciation
for their
hard work is
important.
After
Panorama,
they just go
back to
their
panyards.
“It is also
and
opportunity
for them to
go to
President’s
House, meet
the
President
and his wife
and be
photographed
with them.
That is
something
that they
may never be
exposed to,”
he said.

two-hour
function, LH
Pan Groove,
Single Pan
Band multiple-time winner
entertained
guests with
selections
from their
repertoire.
Among the
specially
invited
guests were
Anthony
“Tony”
Williams and
Dr. Brian
Copeland,
recipients
of the
nation’s
highest
award - the
Order of the
Republic of
Trinidad &
Tobago - and
Fitzroy
Henry who
was recently
recognized
for his
contribution
to the
development
of the Cobre
Steelband of
Cuba.

celebration,
