Educators' Series
In response to the numerous requests for educational clips that are sonically correct for the purposes of education, When Steel Talks will launch its educational series next month. The clips have been specially produced by Basement Recordings, using their unique video/audio "Box and One Technique" to allow the listener to truly hear, see and feel world class steel orchestras as they perform. Basement Recordings is second to none in capturing and reproducing the spirit, power and beauty of musical performances - from conventional steel orchestras to pan soloists. Future clips will feature great steelpan players, arrangers and tuners providing inspirational demonstrations and guidance in conventional and non-conventional approaches to mastering the music arranging for and performance of the steelpan instruments.
