The 2007 New York steelband panorama was again a grand event, with much passion, pageantry, talent and love for the steelpan art form delivered by both performers and fans. Approximately one thousand musicians in eleven steelbands took the stage to perform in the annual steelband music competition at the Brooklyn Museum. Thousands of dedicated fans descended on the grounds to witness firsthand the crowning of this year's titleholder.
