Trinidad and Tobago - Pan Trinbago
has announced an increase in the number of
bands qualifying for the National Panorama
Finals 2010.
As a result there will be
ten (10) finalists in each of the three
categories i.e. Small, Medium and Large
Conventional Bands.
“Over the years,” said Richard Forteau,
Secretary, “there have been requests to
increase the number of finalists. We are
pleased to note that we have taken the call
to the authorities who have agreed to the
increase, both in numbers and prizes.”
Responding to concerns of pan lovers about
the length of the show, the official
revealed it (Saturday’s finals) will be a
tighter show, starting at 6:00 p.m.
On the subject of change, this year’s
Panorama saw revised rules for the
competition in respect to the number of
players.
Small and Single Pan Bands Finals will be
held on Friday 12 February at the Lord
Kitchener’s Stand, South Quay, Port of
Spain, from 7:00 pm.
Finals for Medium and Large Bands will be on
Saturday 13 February 2010 at the Queen’s
Park Savannah, Port of Spain. Competition
starts at 6:00 p.m.
