LYRICS

Verse:
Ah taking the tune on the tenor … body sweating
Ah practice it over and over…. dusk till morning
Each night I come out on ah mission
I aim to achieve its perfection

Bridge:
Then panorama night… and everything is alright
The tenor pan on fire…. sweet music go take yuh higher and higher
When panorama done… we moving back to square one
In poverty and in pain… but bet on yuh life ah coming back again

Chorus:
This is the pan man story
One night to fame and glory
This is the pan man story
Mash it up ah say break it up for meh

This is the pan man story
One night to fame and glory
Out of the trenches
Mash-up the fences

Verse:
Ah take up ah discarded oil drum… body sweating
Ah sink it and groove it to make sound… dusk till morning
Ah put it to burn on ah fire
To take the tone higher and higher

Bridge:
Then panorama night… and everything is alright
The tenor pan on fire…. sweet music go take yuh higher and higher
When panorama done… we moving back to square one
In poverty and in pain… but bet on yuh life ah coming back again

Chorus:
This is the pan man story
One night to fame and glory
This is the pan man story
Mash it up ah say break it up for meh

This is the pan man story
One night to fame and glory
Out of the trenches
Mashup the fences

Verse:
They used to call me ah vagabond… body sweating
Ah badjohn, ah low life to be scorn… dusk till morning
But I took it out on the metal
I grew taller little by little

Bridge:
Then panorama night… and everything is alright
The tenor pan on fire…. sweet music go take yuh higher and higher
When panorama done… we moving back to square one
In poverty and in pain… but bet on yuh life ah coming back again

Chorus:
This is the pan man story
One night to fame and glory
This is the pan man story
Mash it up ah say break it up for meh

This is the pan man story
One night to fame and glory
Out of the trenches
Mashup the fences

Verse:
Ah play for the king and the pauper… body sweating
The preacher, the hater, the lover… dusk till morning
The good and the bad and the ugly
All gather to pay homage to me

Bridge:
Then panorama night… and everything is alright
The tenor pan on fire…. sweet music go take yuh higher and higher
When panorama done… we moving back to square one
In poverty and in pain… but bet on yuh life ah coming back again

Chorus:
This is the pan man story
One night to fame and glory
This is the pan man story
Mash it up ah say break it up for meh

This is the pan man story
One night to fame and glory
Out of the trenches
Mash-up the fences
