St. George’s, Grenada, W.I. - Before music lovers hear from the steel orchestras in Grenada’s August 12 National Panorama, the junior arms of those bands take their turn one week earlier. Five steel orchestras will showcase just as enthusiastically their steelpan music skill set on Saturday August 5.
The Junior Panorama is one component of the event billed as the ‘Children Carnival Frolic.’ It is an all-day affair slated to run from 11:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. and includes junior mas players and a junior calypso competition. The venue is the Grenada National Stadium, Queen’s Park in the country’s capital, St. George’s. The Junior Panorama competition is slated to start at 2:00 p.m.
Previously listed in alphabetical order, the following list of competitors–complete with tunes and arrangers–now reflects the Order of Appearance.
