Steel Sensation

Since its creation in 1996 the members of Steel Sensation have made it their mission to promote the culture of Trinidad and Tobago by bringing steel pan and its entirety to the people of the United States. Since then, the band has made great strides in music under the leadership of their musical director Tristan Japsi. Over the years Steel Sensation has made numerous television appearances on The Today Show, Fox & Friends, and various other television programs.

The band participates in school programs, teaching in various schools and colleges, as well as performing at numerous events, concerts, and exhibitions for steel pan. They have worked alongside Dr. Jit Samaroo on arranging music for the group. Their extensive experience has placed them among the elite steel bands of New York City.
