Music Literacy & Education Conference - Mark Loquan Celebrates 20 Years Of Music For Pan

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. -  With a global vision, and labor of decades of love and dedication to his country, its national instrument, the steelpan and the steelband art form overall - composer, performing artist, panist and businessman Mark Loquan celebrated twenty years of Music for Pan in part by organizing the Music Literacy & Education Conference held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Mia Gormandy and featured various speakers on topics relative to the steelband art form, complete with presentations, and question and answer sessions. For now, view all five individually archived segments of Loquan’s 20th Anniversary celebration at NAPA (National Academy for Performing Arts) as the conference unfolded throughout the day.
