Fix It Now!!! We're As Mad As Hell And Were Not Going to Take It Any More!! --says Pan Community

When Steel Talks hears you loud and clear.  We've seen the many, many emails, message boards, guestbooks and heard the telephone calls.  We see and hear your frustration and pain.  Indeed, the majority of you have asked us to change our grade of the NY 2004 Steelband Panorama co-promoters to an "F".  Recently, it was brought to our attention again that pan men care about only two things as it relates to the panorama competition. That is fair and competent judging and good sound.  In regards, we chime in with our fellow pan people - fix it now.  2004 is behind us and over--  Put forth a competent plan to address these problems now before 2005.

Sonatas' Woman On The Bass
By --Wanda McCrae

New York - September 16,  2004

Two years ago I had the pleasure of writing about my experience rehearsing for and winning T&T Panorama with Trinidad All Stars. This year I have the pleasure of writing about rehearsing for and winning Brooklyn Panorama with Pan Sonatas. Though the end result was the same--a Panorama crown--the paths I took to get there and the effect the experiences had on me were very different.
