Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Former Pan Trinbago president Patrick Arnold passed on Wednesday May 10, 2023. He was eighty-four years old. At the time of his death he was at a nursing home located in Tobago.

Mr. Arnold served as president of the governing body for 12 years - 1996-2009.

Fact:
Back in 1967 during the first Caribana in Toronto, Canada - a steel orchestra called Steltones was the first steelband on the road, playing at the opening of Caribana at City Hall in Toronto, on boat rides, and at the Eaton Centre. For many years the band was captained by Patrick Arnold.  (Source: Ian Lambie)
