The Place To Be!
Vibrations In Steel II:   The Christmas Concert

Brooklyn, N.Y. -- November 10, 2003 --

The Brooklyn Pan Ensemble which is made up exclusively of members of the United States Steel Band Association aka USSA, announced today that it will hold it's Vibrations In Steel Christmas Concert on Sunday December 14, 2003 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.  The concert will feature Pantonic, Pan Sonatas, C.A.S.Y.M., Utopia Pan Soul:  The Next Generation, Women in Steel, Pan Ivory, Pan Ambassadors, Dem Stars and Caribbean Youth Panoramics (CYP).  Special guest artists will include Dane Gulston and Tunapuna Scanty.

The event, which will be held in Wingate H.S. Auditorium located at 600 Kingston Ave., Brooklyn, New York - is the much anticipated follow-up to the very successful spring "Vibrations In Steel" concert which was hosted also by the Brooklyn Pan Ensemble.  The group's first concert was both an artistic and financial success, as the group displayed a keen sense of marketing, production and business acumen.  Moreover they exhibited a clear vision on producing successful future events.

The show left the near-capacity filled auditorium clamoring for more as they were treated to both an educationally and entertainingly rich cultural experience.  Indeed, some of the best and more memorable musical performances to date were executed in that May 2003 show.

Clearly, steelband activities, music and culture are on the rise in terms of popularity and interest worldwide.  Ticket sales, concert attendance, and music purchases for this market are steadily increasing.

This is definitely an event you can't miss - tickets will move fast!  Expect this Christmas steel orchestra concert to be sold out before long!
