"Born Free" is the theme for the classic film of the same name, and sung by Matt Monro.  Utopia Pan Soul:  The Next Generation performs their interpretation of that song, and is first up on this edition of Cool Steel.

The selection from the last edition of Cool Steel  which got the most votes, submitted by email to panradio@panonthenet.com, was "Billie Jean" by Phase II Pan Groove from Trinidad & Tobago.  Voted in at #2 was "Don't Know Why" by Utopia Pan Soul:  The Next Generation, and Sound Specialists of Laventille rounded off the top three with "Morning Dance."
