PanRadio travels around the globe in search of the world's best steelpan music.

Liam Teague
(left) & Arturo Tappin

First up on this Cool Steel  edition is Liam Teague with saxophonist Arturo Tappin.  The duo is a combination which goes over well with many music lovers, and their CD called T 'n T features many favorites.  For this program and from that CD compilation, a track called "Chrome" was chosen as the opening piece.

The selection from the last edition of Cool Steel  which got the most votes, submitted by email to panradio@panonthenet.com, was "Ordinary People" by Desperadoes Steel Orchestra, from Trinidad & Tobago.  Both from the USA, and voted in at #2 and #3 respectively, were CASYM with "Feel So Good", and Andy Narell with "Jutland."

Keep those emails coming!
