Skilled Japanese pannist, composer and arranger Yoshihiro Harada opens up this Cool Steel  edition with "Estate."  Harada's CD called Pan Alone also features many of his original compositions.  On this CD, Harada alone is in the spotlight; however he is also the arranger and leader of Panorama, one of Japan's best-known steel orchestras.

The selection from the last edition of Cool Steel  which got the most votes, submitted by email to panradio@panonthenet.com, was "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" by Exodus Steel Orchestra from Trinidad & Tobago.  Both from the USA, and voted in at #2 and #3 respectively, were Sonatas with "Mr. Magic", and CASYM with "Lambada."
