Sold Out!! Fathers Day Weekend Steelpan Jazz Concert at Lincoln Center

Caribbean Heritage Month & Black Music Month

It's official - the 2007 Steelpan Jazz Concert being held at the House of Jazz at Lincoln Center is sold out.  This year, the annual Father's Day weekend event features Caribbean musical giants David Rudder, Robert Greenidge and Ralph MacDonald among others.  Ever since its inception the show, which highlights the music and top performers of steelpan jazz, has hit a special note within the New York community generating unparalleled excitement and global interest.  Indeed, many of the shows past performances have become all-time classics.  The shows producer Abstract Entertainment (AE) is delighted with the buzz and excitement the show has created for the steelpan instrument and Caribbean jazz music genre.

This year's concert will be held during the official New York Caribbean week celebrations in June, recently-designated Caribbean Heritage month by President George W. Bush - which ironically is already Black Music Month.  The concert series has become a star attraction of the Lincoln Center presentations.
