Trinidad
- Their name is synonymous with greatness. They are known all over the
world and their musical feats are legendary. Desperadoes
Steel Orchestra hails from Laventille, Port of
Spain, Trinidad and traces its beginnings back to the 1940's.
Desperadoes is considered by many to be simply the finest steel
orchestra in the world.
Famous
for it's music accomplishments, Desperadoes has traveled all
over the world performing it's famous classics such as "Rebecca" and
"Pan In Harmony". The group is equally famous for its larger-than-life characters - their
late captain Rudolph Charles, and late master
arranger Clive Bradley.
Desperadoes' true greatness lies in its ability to spawn other great
organizations like Metro Steel Orchestra, Despers USA and Pantonic Steel
Orchestra to name a few.
Over the years When Steel Talks
