Bethesda/Plymouth Steel Sensations

Bethesda/Plymouth Steel Sensations is a community-based steelband located in Plymouth, Bethesda, Tobago.  It was formed in 2009 primarily to provide recreation for the youth in the area, while exposing them to the wide range of skill sets that accompany the national instrument.

In 2018 the band entered the Tobago House of Assembly’s Junior Panorama, its first official competition where Plymouth Bethesda Steel Sensations took first place. They were joint winners with Speyside High School with its rendition of Pan In Danger.

Following this, the band went on to do good things again in 2019 and 2020. Also in 2020, the band entered the national Panorama for the first time and qualified for the semi-finals. The band is managed by Emmanuel Sandy and captained by Kymani Sandy.
