Brooklyn, New York
- June begins the summer months of festivals and concerts
throughout New York City. Some of the biggest concerts
and festivals will take place in the borough of
Brooklyn. This past weekend
When Steel
Talks
traveled to Brooklyn's world-famous Grand Army Plaza
to catch the start of the outdoor performances season.
Despite the overcast conditions, the annual "Best of
Brooklyn Festival" got off without a hitch.
Performing artists from all over the borough took the stage,
giving the large audience a heavy dose of Brooklyn's
talented musicians and dancers. The performances,
representing the wide diversity of Brooklyn performing
talent, thrilled the audience.
This outdoor celebration of Brooklyn fashion, music, family fun, and more --- with Music Stage performers representing
all of Brooklyn,
was an initiative of Brooklyn Borough President Marty
Markowitz with major support from Keyspan.
