  • The Grenada Steel band Association launches Panorama 2007, featuring all the steel bands taking part in both the senior and junior panorama competitions in 2007.  
    All participating senior bands will play a small piece of their 2007 Panorama selection and two other songs while the junior bands will also play the piece selected for Panorama and one other tune.  The Main Event at the launch will be the Rhythm Section Competition which will be contested among the eight senior orchestras taking part in the competition. So far, the eight bands appearing in this year's Panorama are defending Champs Cable & Wireless Commancheros, Courts New Dimension, Capbank Pan Lovers, Grand Roy Pan Angels, River Road Pan Wizards, Corinthians, Republic Bank Angel Harps and Florida West Side Symphony (formerly Florida All Stars).   In the Junior Category, four bands have so far confirmed their participation in this year's event. They are two-time defending champions River Road Whiz Kids, Commancheros, Angel Harps and Grand Roy Pan Lovers.
