Steelpan Music
Festival is
yet another,

into the history
books, but the
show's organizers
are already
at work planning
for next year's
2011 event.
The show's producer
Salah Wilson
expects the
2011 version
to be the biggest
and most expansive
steelpan music
event in Canada.

The Montreal
International
Steelpan Music
Festival is
an invitation-only
event that is
ideally suited
for performing
steel orchestras,
ensembles and
solo artists
- from the college,
community and/or
professional
arenas.
The show promotes
the international
spirit, musicianship
and camaraderie
of steelpan
music.
Junior and youth
organizations
are welcome
and are encouraged
to apply as
potential
participants in the junior
music performance
activities associated
with the event.
There are few
steelpan music
events where
the steelpan
performing artists
are so well
received and
appreciated.
The 2011 show
is set to take
place on the
last weekend
in June with other run-up
events days
before.

as participants

receiving an
