will have their very own day as Pan
Trinbago continues
Pan Month celebrations
throughout Trinidad & Tobago.
The Saturday 20th August
activity is the Pan Trinbago Youth
Rally at the Larry Gomes Stadium Car
Park, Malabar, Arima, from 11:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Seven junior steelbands will perform
selections from their wide and
varied repertoire.
Among them are winners of junior
national and international steel pan
competitions such as St. Margaret’s
Boys’ AC. Other supporting steelbands
are San Fernando West/Old Tech
Combined, Tokyo Youths Steel
Orchestra (pictured), Antillean All Stars
Youth, Richmond Street Boys’ AC,
Tamana Pioneers Youth and Fonclaire
Youth Steel Orchestras.
In addition, there will be bouncy
castles, a miniature golf course and
other entertainment geared for the
young and young at heart. Music for
the occasion will be provided by DJ
Marlon Mr. Muzik of 91.9fm.
Admission is free.
The Pan body is inviting each and
everyone to go out and support the
young musicians while enjoying a day
of fun and music.
