Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - October 2011 has been set aside for the staging of “Pan Is Beautiful XII” – Trinidad & Tobago National Steelband Music Festival. Produced by Pan Trinbago Inc. TC, “Pan Is Beautiful XII” will be staged in phases during that month.
Categories in this competition are Soloist, Ensemble, Single Pan Band and Conventional Bands, with the Orchestra Finals on Thursday 27th October 2011 at the Lord Kitchener Auditorium, National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Frederick Street in Port-of-Spain.
Registration forms are available at all Pan Trinbago Regional Offices- North, South/Central, East and Tobago, as well as the Head Office, 14-17 Park Street, Port-of-Spain.
The official launch of the Festival - during which the Patron, Test Pieces, Prize Structure, Play-Offs and Adjudicators will be revealed - is scheduled for a date and at venue to be announced.
The last staging of the “Pan Is Beautiful” music festival was in 2008 with the theme “We Play It With Pride.”
