Trinidad &
Tobago, W.I. - In St.
Margaret’s Boys Anglican School’s
continued quest to provide its young
scholars with a holistic development
process, the educational institution has embarked on a Pan
Programme which has been quite
successful. And to demonstrate
the continued success of this programme, a 5th
Annual
Youth Pan Extravaganza has been
planned - in two parts - by St.
Margaret’s Boys’ Steel Orchestra.
The first segment is carded for July 9th at
the Skiffle Bunch Pan Theatre, Coffee
Street, San Fernando. The
second comes off on July 16th at
the Trinidad All Stars Pan Theatre,
Duke Street, in Port-of-Spain.
The run time
for both events is 2 p.m. through 6 p.m.
In addition to
St. Margaret's Boys Steel
Orchestra, other top junior
bands are also carded to
participate in the respective events
in north and south Trinidad; they
include
Success Stars Sounds,
St. Francois College,
Golden Hands,
Skiffle Bunch, and Grant Memorial
Presbyterian School. Each of these
orchestras has won some National Music
Competition - or in the case of Golden
Hands - qualified for the finals of a
national competition.
General admission is TT $20.00,
while youngsters under twelve years
of age will be admitted free of
charge.
