Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Pan Trinbago continues its “Pan in de Countryside” series with two events in Tobago. The first comes off at the Charlotteville Recreation Ground, on Saturday 7th July from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Steelbands scheduled to perform include Steel Xplosion, West Side Symphony, Dixieland, Redemption Sound Setters, Metro Stars and Natural Mystic. Popular DJ, Klass is Klass, will also be in attendance. Admission is free but food, drink and merchandise will be on sale.
The second Tobago edition will be held in September at a date and venue to be announced.
“Pan in de Country Side” is a Pan Trinbago initiative showcasing steelbands in villages and small towns in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago where there is an absence of steelbands and little understanding of what Pan can offer the community.
The year’s itinerary for the series continues as follows:
Tableland in August, Blanchisseuse in October and Williams Bay in
November.
