Brentwood, Maryland - In May 2017, Pan Masters Steel Orchestra will celebrate 32 years of providing Steelband music in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The band has traveled north as far as Brooklyn, New York and south to North Carolina. The band has been featured in many notable programs and has attributed its success to a strong belief in the family, a strong and determined group of musical arrangers, and an experienced administrative and promotional organization, which places equal merit on quality performers and good clientele relationships. The support we have enjoyed from the pan fraternity has sustained our drive and motivation.
During the weekend of February 11- 12, 2017, the Pan Masters Steel Orchestra experienced a personal tragedy. Our secured Music Studio in North Brentwood, Maryland was vandalized and our Truck, Band Equipment and two (2) Color TVs were stolen. Although the Maryland Police has subsequently located the truck, we are challenged with the replacement of Band Equipment and TVs, truck repair, retuning of damaged Pans and replacement of damaged refrigerator equipment in the Pan Yard.
