With Scrunter, Superblue, Johnny King, Funny, Bally, Trinidad Rio and David Bereaux on guitar, the evening promises a melodic trip down memory lane. Music accompaniment is provided by Vincent Rivers & The Soca Unit.
Showtime is 8:00 p.m. Advance tickets priced at TT $150.00 are being sold at Crosby’s St. James, Marts Liquor Palace, 40 Diego Martin Main Road, and at the venue on the day of the show.
This year the Committee celebrates Martin Davy Boodoosingh.
The celebration continues on Sunday June 26 with Steelpan Explosion – The Concert featuring some of the big names in the line-up. Featured steel orchestras are Supernovas, Couva Joylanders, Phase II Pan Groove, Invaders, Starlift, Power Stars and St. James Tripolians. African Drummers, St. James Artisans, will make a guest appearance. Starting time is 6:00 p.m.
For the past 18 years, WeBeat has been a stimulus for small businesses in the community, provided a forum for artists to showcase their talents, and contributed significantly to the elevation of St. James as a major entertainment venue in the capital city. The St. James CIC (Community Improvement Committee) won the bpTT Leader Award in 2002 for its innovation of WeBeat St. James Live.

commemoration of the 63rd anniversary of St. James being incorporated into the
