First up on this Cool Steel  edition is Jambalasi, a group composed primarily of a family of skilled musicians featuring Kareem Thompson on double seconds.  For this performance, though, Jambalasi was joined by two other talented pannists, Freddie Harris, III, and Andy Akiho both on tenor pans.   Jambalasi executed Robert Flack's classic  "Feel Like Makin' Love" as part of their 2004 performance in Sesame Flyers' "Steel Extravaganza."

The selection from the last edition of Cool Steel  which got the most votes, submitted by email to panradio@panonthenet.com, was "Peasants and Poets Overture" by New Dimension Steel Orchestra from GrenadaVoted in at #2 and #3 respectively, were Pantonic Steel Orchestra from the USA with "You're Still The One" and Exodus with "Bridge Over Troubled Water."

Keep those emails coming!
