Steel Sensation captured while recording

First up on this Cool Steel  edition is the very talented and versatile group called Steel Sensation from Queens, New York, USA.  Led by Ian Japsi on drums, the steelpan talents are Marc (cello), David (double seconds), Dwayne (bass), and Amrit and Ryan (tenors).  With a new CD in the works, Steel Sensation leads off this program with "Hold Me Now."
 

The selection from the last edition of Cool Steel  which got the most votes, submitted by email to panradio@panonthenet.com, was "I Am A Batchelor" by Utopia Pan Soul:  The Next Generation from the United States.  Voted in at #2 and #3 respectively, were Trinidad & Tobago's Exodus Steel Orchestra with "Bridge Over Troubled Waters"  and United States-based Hugh Huggins Jr. with "Carenage."
