PanRadio travels around the globe in search of the world's best steelpan music.

Please note that we have extended our line-up of steelpan music for your enjoyment!  Archived shows are sometimes in rotation, in addition to current steelpan programs.  Please keep this in mind regarding any obviously time-dated content in the shows, including events, information and advertisements!  And keep listening to PanRadio!

Greg and Junko MacDonald are based in Hawaii, and are the island's best known pannists.  They have produced several CDs to date and one of them, Sweet Dreaming contains the track first up on this edition of Cool Steel: "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring."

The selection from the last edition of Cool Steel  which got the most votes, submitted by email to panradio@panonthenet.com, was "Don't Leave Me This Way" by Desperadoes Steel Orchestra, based in Trinidad & Tobago.  Voted in at #2 was Sonatas Steel Orchestra with "Mr. Magic"; and Robert Greenidge rounded off the top three with "Zoo Life."

Keep those emails coming!
