Albert Albee Amoroso aka 'Oceanik' is one of several Trinidadian pannists who call Florida home.  He has recorded three steelband CDs to date, and selected "You Gotta Be" popularized by Des'ree in 1994 as one of the tracks for his Steel & Voices CD.   Oceanik's interpretation of Des'ree's international anthem is first up on this edition of Cool Steel.

The selection from the last edition of Cool Steel  which got the most votes, submitted by email to panradio@panonthenet.com, was "Penny Lane" by Starlift Steel Orchestra from Trinidad & Tobago.  Voted in at #2 was "People Make The World Go 'Round" by Nicholas Mohan, and Liam Teague rounded off the top three with "Feel So Good."
