PanRadio travels around the globe in search of the world's best steelpan music.

Please note that we have extended our line-up of steelpan music for your enjoyment!  Archived shows are occasionally in rotation, in addition to current steelpan programs.  Please keep this in mind regarding any obviously time-dated content in the shows, including events, information and advertisements!  And keep listening to PanRadio!

Len 'Boogsie' Sharpe has undisputedly made fabulous contributions to the steelband artform, both with his orchestra Phase II Pan Groove, and as a soloist.  It is in the latter capacity that this steelpan master opens up this edition of  Cool Steel.   From his CD Fresh Air - "Sunday Morning Funk" is first up.

The selection from the last edition of Cool Steel  which got the most votes, submitted by email to panradio@panonthenet.com, was "So Sick" by Sesame Flyers Steel Orchestra from New York.  Voted in at #2 was "Don't Leave Me This Way" by Desperadoes from Trinidad; from Germany- Panorama rounded off the top three with "Orinoco Bird."

Keep those emails coming!
