PanRadio travels around the globe in search of the world's best steelpan music.

Robert Greenidge

Please note that we have extended our line-up of steelpan music for your enjoyment!  Archived shows are also in rotation, in addition to current steelpan programs.  Please keep this in mind regarding any obviously time-dated content in the shows, including events, information and advertisements!  And keep listening to PanRadio!

USA-based mutli-talented pan musician, world-renowned soloist and steelpan arranger Robert Greenidge opens up this week's program with music from his CD - From The Heart - released in December of 2003.  A serious and quiet personality, Greenidge takes no prisoners when he gets behind his instruments, and a track called "Paradise Garden" is first up on Cool Steel.

The selection from the last edition of Cool Steel which got the most votes, submitted by email to panradio@panonthenet.com, was "Footprints" by Sonatas Steel Orchestra from the USA.  Voted in at #2 and #3 respectively, were Desperadoes Steel Orchestra from Trinidad & Tobago with - "Africa," and from the UK - Melodians Steel Orchestra with "Take 5"

Keep those emails coming!
