Australia In The Spotlight
Pan From Down Under

Australia - Last week over 70 children  - members of the Revesby Revellers, the Starlighters and Fields of Pan steel bands came together to perform for the launch of Education Week at the Sydney Equestrian Centre.  The children thrilled the audience - many of whom have never heard a steel band before.  It was a wonderful experience for the students, as well, to play in such a large band. The performers ranged in age from 7 to 12 years.

More performances are planned for the rest of this year -  festivals, fetes and  educational events. The interest in steel bands is certainly growing here in Australia.  Click To See Picture Gallery .
