Sexy Lyn’s performances are described as “fiery,” “energetic” and “passionate”.
As a young lady, Sexy Lyn studied music, songwriting, singing and dance, representing Trinidad and Tobago as the youngest dancer at age 15 in the “Timbuktu” dance company.
Sexy Lyn has a voice that captures your attention. It’s edgy, distinguished and versatile. Earlier, Sexy Lyn was known as the premier underground female dub artist in Trinidad, sharing the stage with Mad Cobra, Cocoa Tea, Major Ranks, and other major dub recording artist. In 2005 Sexy Lyn launched the hit “Horna Man”. This passionate song sparked an ongoing flow of social commentary. It became the topic of many heated radio discussions. Following that hit Sexy Lyn release “Doh Tell” which topped the Radio charts at #5 in October of the same year. In 2006 Sexy Lyn took the party world by storm with her Jump Soca hit “Party People”. In 2007 Lyn claimed the #3 spot on many charts with her single the “Birthday Gift”.
