LYRICS

Verse 1

Doh ask me, this year how de band coming
If yuh must know, we ent joking
For this year we will be smoking
Like a "A Train" that heading non-stop direct to Manhattan
Anyone that cross my terrain is straight to the promised land
Go be mas in town, when de band come down
For we are not messing around
Go and tell de masses, this year we coming strong.

Chorus
Ready, how we coming
Deadly, how we coming
Lethal, how we coming
Fatal, how we coming
We eh coming to make up numbers only, Oh! No!
We coming to mash up de city fine, fine, fuh so
Like a raging tiger
Or a toxic viper
We come out to set de town a-blaze with fire.

Verse 2
We bringing, cutting music that phonic
Fast and furious, almost sonic
Some will say like it demonic
Like the earthquake that ravage Haiti we come out to destroy
Seek your refuge on higher ground from the approach we employ
Like de tsunami, from the undersea
With waves so high that you can't see
This ent no rachify, this year we not easy.

Chorus

Verse 3
Now you know, get ready for the action
Designed for your satisfaction
We will be the main attraction
Like a jet plane that flying thru' the sky leaving a smoke trail
Faster than the sound it makes you'll be mesmerized without fail
Like a crescendo, to great heights you know
That is bound to set you aglow
A musical journey, we will all undergo.

Chorus

This year she returns to the combination of Brian “Bean” Griffith and Alvin Daniell who she worked with on Pure Party.

Brian Bean Griffith

Brian “Bean” Griffith - While he (Brian “Bean” Griffith) maintains that “Panorama is a cultural event that cannot really be judged, Judges have a duty to remain focused, respect every artistic expression and not just scribble any score when the performance is over”. The judges need to seek more innovative introspect to fully appreciate the efforts involved in arranging steel band music. He believes that judges should spend more time, visiting yards prior to the competition to respect the hard work and dedication of the musicians who spend countless hours preparing their compositions on steel.

Alvin C. DaniellAlvin C. Daniell - Engineer, Cultural Researcher, Television Presenter, Composer and Music Producer comprise the disciplines of this individual.  In the pan world he is best known for his lyrical work with some of the top pan arrangers in Trinidad and Tobago. These include Ray Holman (Pan on the Move, Pan on the Run); Len “Boogsie” Sharpe (Mind Yuh Business, Misbehave); Pelham Goddard (Parade, Play My Music, Good News, A Happy Song); Brian “Bean” Griffith (Trini Know How, Pure Party, How we coming – 2011); Don Clarke (Can’t Get Enough, Momentum – 2011). He has also worked recently with Edwin Pouchet to produce hits such as Thunder Coming, First in de Line and Battle Zone. So far he has written lyrics for over six songs for 2011.
