message to my fellow Trinbagonians
People say- we on the sea to
destruction
They say we wealthy
We treasury full of money
But violence and crime is our
destiny.
Well I want us wake up -
Rise and shine my people
Let no one accuse us of being so
evil
We must get off the seaway
That leads to only crime
Let us chart another course, I think
it is time

want no shooting here in Trinbago
Stop the crime from rising,

There are consequences that we all

So violence my people,

Look there
was a time,
When this ship sailing.
The waters calm
Like in a swimming
pool it moving.
But the sea turned rough
The waves – got very tough
All kind of problems-
On deck began happening
We cannot count on a safe journey
anymore
What will happen to this ship,
No
one can say for sure.
So we the passengers
May have to keep changing Skipper
We don’t want to reach the port-
That we heading for.

wheel problems
How can we solve
them? Well -
The skipper and the crew must find
solutions
Murders and robberies –
Rampantly taking place
As Trinbagonians,
We should feel a sense of disgrace
For on the ship
There seem to be some who don’t care
They have other passengers
Traveling with great fear
So there must be sanity for justice
to prevail
Although we are free –
It seems like we are in jail
Need the whole nation

Once we traveled with love,
People called us a paradise
But guns and drugs
Quickly sending us to our demise
What a situation, facing this
dynamic nation
Well like a Phoenix
It will rise up and save the
population
So authorities look,
Call leaders of all institutions
Bring them together;
Let us have a big convention
No one person can claim
That they
have a crime plan.
To fix this problem
