LYRICSVerse 1
Today was a bad day
All that can go wrong It went
that way
I wish that I can say
It’s under control but no way
Not
today
What I need is something
nice
To take me to paradise
What I need is something real
Like the sound of steel
And I
know it will be ok
So breathe on
me that melody
That can make
everything inside me
Be free
Chorus 1
Gi’ me a run
that telling the whole world
I feeling alright
And make sure the basses speak to my
soul
I feeling alright
You know that the guitars dem have
to
Jam jam jam jam
I feel like you understand the
arrangements of my land
(So dance) be free to be
(And dance) a proud Trini
(Just dance) trust the melody
And dance
Verse 2
The negative
won’t end
They trying to break you
But you just bend
So you call up your best friends
Emergency ‘lime’ to retain
Being sane
You longing for the groove
To put you in the mood
You longing for the vibe
Something you cannot hide
And you know that you want the steel
So breathe on me
That melody
That can make everything inside me
Be free
Chorus

What I need

To take me to paradise
What I need is something real
Like the sound of steel and I know
it will be ok
So breathe on me that melody
To resonate inside of me
A sound to give me energy
Just play sweet pan for me
