Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Seven small conventional steel orchestras in the Tobago Region will have their eight minutes of glory on Sunday 5 February 2017 before the judges in their category as the National Panorama Preliminaries get underway. The activity takes place at the participants’ respective pan yards.

Closing the evening’s proceedings is C&B Crown Cordaans of Canaan with their rendition of “Flag Party” composed and sung by Austin Lyons aka Super Blue.
The Tobago bands—like their Trinidad counterparts—shall be permitted to play with a minimum of 50 players in the Preliminary and Semi Finals and 60 in the Finals.
A total of fifteen bands in the Region in the three categories have registered for the competition.
