Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Small conventional steel orchestras begin their competition for the 2026 season of the Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama, with bands from the Eastern region kicking off preliminary competition. Friday and Saturday December 5–6 are the first two dates on the schedule.
B Minor Steel Orchestra is first up on Friday evening with a scheduled start time of 7:00 p.m. AST, per data posted by event organizer Pan Trinbago. Sixteen small steel orchestras are expected to represent the Eastern region; nine on night one, and seven on night two.
Steel orchestras from all four regions—East, South/Central, Tobago and North—are vying first for positions in the Saturday December 20 semi-finals in Port-of-Spain. Those that make it through have a go at the championship on January 10, 2026.
Golden Hands and New East Side Dimension steel orchestras are joint defending champions in this category.
