Semi Finals Results for Small Conventional Steel Orchestras - Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama 2018

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. -  On Saturday January 27 thirty small conventional steel orchestras performed on Park Street, facing Victoria Park in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad - in the semi-finals of their category, aiming to be among the final fourteen making it through to the championship round. These thirty were the best of the original forty-three participants at the start of the competition.

Scoring 277, defending champions La Horquetta Pan Groove are now currently tied for fourth place with Tobago’s very own Uptown Fascinators. They are just behind the top three leading at this stage - Laventille Serenaders awarded 281 points, five-time consecutive champs Arima Golden Symphony one point behind, with South/Central-based Golden Hands ranking third with 279.

Trinidad’s sister isle of Tobago is ably represented, with five representatives in total going into the finals, which are scheduled for February 8 at Skinner’s Park, San Fernando, south Trinidad.

Following are the full results for the semi-finals phase of competition for SMALL conventional steel orchestras.  Only the TOP fourteen move on to the finals.
